No blame or judgment
Vaginismus is framed as an involuntary medical condition—not a personal or moral failure.
About Vagilax
A specialized Egyptian clinic supporting women and couples through vaginismus and unconsummated marriage with privacy, clinical clarity, and patient-controlled care.

Our Origin
Vagilax began after Dr. AbdelMaguid Ramzy encountered a medically educated newlywed who was experiencing profound fear, pain, and an unconsummated marriage without a clear pathway to care. Her experience exposed how stigma and limited anatomical education can isolate even highly informed patients.
The clinic was developed to replace blame and silence with a structured, respectful approach that treats vaginismus as an involuntary neuromuscular condition and includes both partners in recovery.

How We Care
Every stage is explained clearly and adapted to the person, the couple, and the clinical assessment.
Vaginismus is framed as an involuntary medical condition—not a personal or moral failure.
Examinations and progression are transparent, consent-based, and can be stopped by the patient.
Both partners receive respectful education and practical guidance that reduces pressure and isolation.
Medical intervention, rehabilitation, education, and follow-up work as one coordinated pathway.

Vagilax is the first and only specialized center of its kind in Egypt and the Middle East. Led by Prof. Dr. AbdelMaguid Ramzy, former Head of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Cairo University and Kasr El-Ainy IVF co-founder, our clinic combines clinical authority with trauma-informed, patient-controlled care.
“I refer to Dr. Ramzy as our savior when it came to our marriage. After three years of pain and visiting multiple doctors who did not understand my condition, the Botox treatment and physical therapy at Vagilax cured me in weeks.”
“Like most couples, we felt isolated by our unconsummated marriage. The moment we spoke to Dr. AbdelMaguid Ramzy, we knew we found a compassionate, scientific cure. The guidance and support we received saved our marriage.”
“Dr. Ramzy has changed my life. I came to him... suffering the effects of years of marriage anxiety. The clinic's holistic, respectful, and data-driven approach was the key to my recovery.”
Vagilax combines clinical authority with an empathetic, culturally sensitive patient journey.

The short duration of typical medical visits does not allow for the complex care needed for pelvic floor spasms. Our one-hour long consults ensure full clarity, addressing both physical spasms and emotional anxiety in a safe, confidential environment.

I founded Vagilax after witnessing how many newlywed couples suffer in silence due to vaginismus and unconsummated marriages in the Middle East. Our mission is to lift the burden of isolation and replace cultural taboos with scientific, compassionate medical care that frees women from pain.
